Counting help and FAQ
Everything about Wody Counting: how a game works, what each mode needs and what is kept.
In short
Wody Counting turns a channel into a counting game with 13 built-in modes, strict and fair rules, saves, streaks, challenges, badges and competitions. One engine runs every mode, so rules behave the same everywhere.
What is Wody Counting?
A counting game for a Discord channel. Members take turns writing the next number of a sequence. Wody checks every message, keeps the count and rewards good play.
How do I start a game?
Open the dashboard, choose Counting, pick a channel and a mode, then create the game. You can also use /counting setup. Every rule can be changed afterwards.
Which modes are available?
Classic, reverse, steps, decimal, negative, binary, hexadecimal, roman numerals, alphabet, number words in nine languages, Fibonacci, multiples and custom sequences.
What happens on a mistake?
Each server chooses: restart from the beginning, go back to the last milestone, keep counting or only warn. Strikes, short locks and saves can soften or sharpen the result.
What is a save?
A save brings the count back after a mistake. It can be used automatically or by a member with /counting save, and is earned from milestones, intervals and rewards.
Does Counting give XP?
Yes, separate counting XP and a counting level. It never changes general XP, Economy or Moderation. Daily caps and cooldowns keep it fair.
What data is kept?
Counters, records, streaks and rewards. Message text, attachments and audio are never stored. Public pages show names and numbers only, and only for games a server made public.
Can a server hide its game?
Yes. A server can keep a game off the public list and the public page while members still play normally.
How does Counting work with the Battle Pass?
Valid counts, milestones and streaks feed Battle Pass quests, and Counting badges appear in your Passport. Battle Pass rules and rewards are unchanged.
How is cheating handled?
Each message is judged once, even when many arrive together. Too many messages, repeated wrong input and robot-like timing lead to short pauses. Nobody is banned or kicked by Counting.
Is Counting free?
Counting is free. Premium servers get a few extra comforts such as additional stored saves. Nothing is sold inside the game.
