Help, guides and FAQ
Everything you need to get Wody running, configure your server and find answers when something does not work as expected.
Getting started
How do I add Wody?+
Use the Invite Wody button or open wody.online/invite. Discord will open directly so you can choose your server and authorize Wody.
Do I need to host Wody?+
No. Wody runs on its own infrastructure. Invite the bot, open the dashboard and configure your server.
Where do I configure Wody?+
Open the Dashboard, choose your server and select the module you want to configure.
Do dashboard changes need a restart?+
No. Changes are saved to the server configuration and are picked up by Wody without requiring a manual restart.
Dashboard and access
Who can manage a server?+
Dashboard access is checked on the server. The server owner, or a member with Manage Server or Administrator permission, can manage that server configuration.
Why can I see a server but not manage it?+
Seeing a Discord server in your account does not automatically grant management access. Wody checks your Discord permissions before allowing configuration changes.
Can server settings mix between servers?+
No. Configuration is stored against the Discord server it belongs to. Settings from one server are not applied to another server.

Tickets
How do ticket panels work?+
Create and configure ticket panels from the dashboard. Each panel can have its own appearance and up to 10 ticket types.
How many ticket panels can I create?+
A server can have up to 3 active ticket panels. The dashboard shows the current limit and cooldown status.
Who can see a private ticket?+
The ticket creator, the configured support role and Wody receive the required access. Discord users with Administrator permission can still bypass channel permission overwrites.
What happens to older ticket panels?+
Existing panels continue using their saved configuration until they are deleted or replaced.
Reaction Roles
Where are Reaction Roles configured?+
Reaction Roles are configured from the Wody Dashboard. The configuration is kept separately for each Discord server.
Can I use buttons instead of emoji reactions?+
Yes. Wody supports emoji based reactions and button based role selection.
Can buttons have roles and custom text?+
Yes. Each button can have optional role assignment plus its own emoji and text.

How can I report a bug?+
Join the official Wody community and include the server, module, what you were doing, the exact error message and any relevant Discord error details.
How can I request a feature?+
Send a clear feature request through the Wody community. Explain what you want, where it should appear and how it should work.
Where can I get updates?+
Follow the official Wody channels and check the website for new releases, dashboard changes and feature updates.
Security and permissions
Does Wody share settings between servers?+
No. Server configuration is associated with its own Discord server. A setting saved for one server does not become a setting for another server.
Can another server owner access my dashboard settings?+
No. Dashboard requests are checked against the Discord account and server being managed. Server configuration is isolated by Discord server.
Why does Wody need Discord permissions?+
Permissions are required so Wody can perform the actions you enable, such as managing tickets, roles, messages or moderation features.
What should I do if a module says Wody lacks permissions?+
Check the bot role position and the permissions for the affected server, category, channel or role. The dashboard error information can help identify the missing configuration.
Commands and dashboard
Where should I configure modules?+
Use the dashboard whenever a module is managed there. This keeps server configuration organized and avoids conflicting settings.
Are all features controlled from Discord commands?+
No. Some systems have been moved to the dashboard so server owners can configure them in one place. The Help page explains where each system is managed.
Where can I find the current command list?+
Use Wody’s Help information and the bot’s current command help in Discord. Command availability can depend on the module and server configuration.
Can I manage more than one server?+
Yes. The dashboard lets you choose a manageable Discord server and keeps each server’s configuration separate.
