1. What this policy covers
Wody lets you customize your own profile page, level card, welcome and goodbye cards. You can give Wody a link to an image, GIF or audio file hosted on another platform and, for the profile card background and for your profile song, upload a file. This policy explains what you may use, how it is handled and how reports are handled. It applies in addition to the Terms and Conditions.
2. Your images and links
You may use images for personal customization only. You must be the owner of the image, hold a licence for it, or otherwise have a lawful basis to use it and to have it displayed through Wody. Being able to find an image online does not mean you may use it.
Each time you publish or edit your public profile (profile page, public profile details, a profile card image or link, or the images of your server cards) you must tick an unchecked box that confirms you own or have permission to use the content and that you accept these policies. Without the box ticked the change cannot be saved. When you tick it, Wody records the time and the policy version together with your profile settings.
The confirmation records your statement. It does not make an unauthorized image lawful and it does not remove Wody's own obligations under the law.
The same applies to music. Before you upload a song you must tick a box confirming that you own it or have the permission of the rights holder to make it available publicly through Wody. You alone are responsible for any copyright claim about music you upload or link. Do not upload commercial recordings you have no licence for. Wody may remove a song, restrict uploads or suspend customization after a report or when the use is clearly unlawful.
3. What is not allowed
- Material that infringes copyright, trademarks or other rights of others, including official artwork, screenshots, logos or characters you do not have permission to use.
- Use of logos, names or branding in a way that suggests you or Wody are affiliated with or approved by someone else.
- Illegal content, including content that sexualizes minors, and sexually explicit content.
- Hateful, abusive, harassing or threatening content, and content that impersonates other people.
- Links used to distribute malware, to track people or to reach private or internal addresses.
- Anything that breaks the Discord Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.
4. Wody-provided and user-provided content
Wody provides original themes and scenes drawn by Wody. Wody does not provide a gallery of third-party artwork. Images you upload or link are yours: Wody does not claim ownership of them and does not grant you any right to third-party material.
5. How images and links are handled
Images and GIFs that you add to your profile page and to server cards, and audio you link, are not stored by Wody. You provide a link, the file stays on the platform that hosts it, and Wody only loads it from there to show it. It stays visible only while the link remains valid: if you delete the file or the host removes it, it disappears from Wody. Wody stores the link address in your settings until you change or remove it, and the file may be kept for a short time in a browser or network cache while it is displayed.
The exceptions are the profile card background and your profile song: if you upload a file there instead of giving a link, Wody stores that file until you replace or delete it, or until it is removed after a report. A song plays only when a visitor presses play.
You allow Wody to load the link you provide only to show your customization (for example on your profile page or on the cards the bot posts), and to review it if it is reported.
6. Reports and review
Anyone signed in can report an image or profile from the profile page. Rights holders can use the copyright complaint form. Reports are reviewed by the operator. Wody has no automatic system that detects infringing content, so it relies on reports and on review. It does not promise that every image is checked before it is shown.
A report alone never causes a ban. Reporter details are not shown to the reported user.
7. Possible actions
After review the operator may remove an image or link, restrict uploads for a period, suspend customization, suspend the Discord account linked to the profile for a period, or block it until the block is lifted. A suspended or blocked account cannot edit its profile page, profile card or public profile details, and its public profile is hidden. This only concerns Wody features: it does not affect the person's Discord account itself. Violations are counted. The decision, its reason and the time are recorded.
8. Appeals
If an action is taken on your content you see a notice on the profile page tab and you can send an appeal there. The operator reviews appeals and can restore content or lift restrictions.
9. Records and personal data
Wody keeps the report, the reference to the identified content, the decision and its history, and the policy confirmation time and version, for as long as needed to handle the case and to prevent repeat violations. Wody does not keep copies of images and audio that are only linked. See the Privacy Policy.
