Discord Backup Bot, Save and Restore Your Wody Settings
Back up the settings of your server from Discord with /backup and restore them when you need to. Premium.
A server setup takes hours, and one wrong click or a rushed change can undo it. Owners want a safety net they can use without opening the dashboard.
Wody backups save your Wody settings from Discord with /backup, so you can restore them when something goes wrong or when you want to go back to a known good setup. It is a Premium module.
Who it is for
- Owners who spent weeks on channels, roles and permissions
- Admins who want a safety net before a big change
What goes wrong elsewhere
- A server is usually nuked through a permissions mistake, such as a role that collected Manage Roles and Ban over time
- Without a backup there is no way to undelete channels, only to rebuild by hand
- The newest snapshot may already contain the damage, so a restore point from before matters
- No backup can bring back members who left, so the invite has to be shared again

How to set up Backups
Here is how to get Backups running on your server, step by step. It takes a few minutes.
Add Wody and open the dashboard
Invite Wody to your server, then sign in to the dashboard with Discord and pick your server. In Discord you can also run /dashboard to get the link.
Turn on Backups
Open Backups in the sidebar and switch it on if it is off. Backups is part of Premium. Activate a key for your server first, then turn it on.
Set it up
Choose what you need and save. Changes reach the bot instantly. You can set:
- Create a backup
- Restore or delete a backup
Use it in Discord
These commands are ready for you and your members:
/backup/backups/restoreCheck that it works
Try it in your server. If something is missing, Wody tells you exactly what, for example a permission, and the Error Log in the dashboard shows it. You can come back and change anything at any time.
