Discord Captcha Verification Bot, Keep Bots and Raiders Out
New members verify on a dedicated web page before they get a role, so automated accounts never reach your channels.
If you have ever watched a raid flood a channel or seen giveaway campaigns fill a server with throwaway accounts, you know why verification matters. Owners also dislike verification that is so complicated that real people give up before posting their first message.
Wody sends new members to a dedicated verification page. Once they pass it, they get the role that unlocks your server. It pairs with the auto role, Automod raid mode and the logs, so a suspicious wave of joins stays visible to your staff.
Who it is for
- Owners of public, giveaway and trading servers that attract automated accounts
- Admins who were raided once, usually in the middle of the night, and do not want it again
- Communities that want a gate in front of the channels without making newcomers jump through hoops
What goes wrong elsewhere
- Every extra verification step also removes some real people, so a hard gate costs growth
- Verification matters most during an attack, but its cost is paid every normal day
- Raids often arrive as a group of brand new accounts joining at the same moment
- Some members distrust third party verification, so the steps must be short and clearly explained

How to set up Captcha
Here is how to get Captcha running on your server, step by step. It takes a few minutes.
Add Wody and open the dashboard
Invite Wody to your server, then sign in to the dashboard with Discord and pick your server. In Discord you can also run /dashboard to get the link.
Turn on Captcha
Open Captcha in the sidebar and switch it on if it is off.
Set it up
Choose what you need and save. Changes reach the bot instantly. You can set:
- Verified role and minimum account age
- Discord panel: text, image, button text and emoji
- Web page: title, texts and success messages
Check that it works
Try it in your server. If something is missing, Wody tells you exactly what, for example a permission, and the Error Log in the dashboard shows it. You can come back and change anything at any time.
