Discord Goodbye Bot, Farewell Messages When Members Leave
Post a farewell as text, an embed or an image card when someone leaves, so your community feels cared for until the last message.
Most server owners want to know when people leave, and some want a friendly goodbye in public. Setting that up in a separate bot just for one message is the kind of tool sprawl owners complain about.
Wody posts a farewell in the channel you pick, as text, an embed or an image card, including the gradient Aurora type. It matches your welcome style, so joining and leaving look like they belong to the same server.
Who it is for
- Owners who want leaving members to be acknowledged in the same style as arrivals
- Moderators who watch leaves to spot raids and quick leavers
What goes wrong elsewhere
- Adding a separate bot for a single message is exactly the tool sprawl owners complain about
- Join and leave messages that look like they come from two different servers

How to set up Goodbye
Here is how to get Goodbye running on your server, step by step. It takes a few minutes.
Add Wody and open the dashboard
Invite Wody to your server, then sign in to the dashboard with Discord and pick your server. In Discord you can also run /dashboard to get the link.
Turn on Goodbye
Open Goodbye in the sidebar and switch it on if it is off.
Set it up
Choose what you need and save. Changes reach the bot instantly. You can set:
- Title, message and footer with placeholders
- Format: plain text, embed with avatar or image card
- Card background, avatar, colors, overlay and size
Check that it works
Try it in your server. If something is missing, Wody tells you exactly what, for example a permission, and the Error Log in the dashboard shows it. You can come back and change anything at any time.
