Communities argue about the same things all day: what song is this, is that Minecraft server up, what does this package do, how much is a coin today. Owners end up adding one bot per game or service, each with its own commands, its own prefix and its own paywall, which is the tool sprawl that many owners say they want to get rid of.

Wody puts 25 lookups under one command, /lookup. Last.fm now playing with the cover, Deezer and iTunes, Minecraft servers and players, Roblox, Steam, Chess.com, Modrinth, Twitch, Kick, YouTube, GitHub, npm, PyPI, anime, movies, shows, Pokemon, Wikipedia in the server language, crypto prices, currency conversion, Bluesky, Mastodon and Reddit. The results come from official or openly documented APIs, never scraped pages, and look like every other Wody message with the service named at the bottom and link buttons.

Who it is for

  • Gaming communities that ask for Minecraft server status or Steam and Roblox profiles every day
  • Music, anime and tech servers where members share links and stats
  • Owners who want useful commands without adding five single purpose bots

What goes wrong elsewhere

  • Each service has its own bot, and every extra bot is another invite, role and dashboard
  • Tiny single feature bots are often abandoned and silently stop answering
  • Some lookups need an account or a key, which owners do not want to manage

How to set up Lookups

Here is how to get Lookups running on your server, step by step. It takes a few minutes.

  1. Add Wody and open the dashboard

Invite Wody to your server, then sign in to the dashboard with Discord and pick your server. In Discord you can also run /dashboard to get the link.

  2. Turn on Lookups

Open Lookups in the sidebar and switch it on if it is off.

  3. Set it up

Choose what you need and save. Changes reach the bot instantly. You can set:

    • Turn it on or off for the whole server
    • Which services need a key from the bot owner
    • Where members can use the commands
  4. Use it in Discord

These commands are ready for you and your members:

    /lookup steam/lookup nowplaying/lookup github/lookup crypto
  5. Check that it works

Try it in your server. If something is missing, Wody tells you exactly what, for example a permission, and the Error Log in the dashboard shows it. You can come back and change anything at any time.

Frequently asked questions

Is Lookups free?+
Yes, it is free for every server and on by default.
Where does the data come from?+
From official or openly documented APIs of each service, not from scraped pages.
Does Wody store what members search?+
No. Searches and results are not saved.
Do all services work without setup?+
Most do. A few, such as Twitch and Kick, need a key that only the bot owner can add. Without it Wody says so instead of failing.
Do members need an account on those services?+
No. Wody reads public information through official or openly documented interfaces and shows it in Discord.
