Good servers listen. The trouble starts when ideas are buried in general chat and nobody can tell which ones were accepted. Owners want one place where suggestions are easy to post and easy to answer.

In Wody, members submit a suggestion and moderators approve or deny it with buttons. Each suggestion becomes a clear embed and the history is preserved, so your community can see that feedback leads somewhere.

Who it is for

  • Owners who want ideas from members to reach the staff instead of getting buried in general chat
  • Game and product communities that keep a visible record of what was accepted

What goes wrong elsewhere

  • The same idea is posted again and again because nobody can find the earlier one
  • A denial with no visible status feels like being ignored, so members stop sending ideas
  • Votes by plain reaction can be inflated with extra accounts
  • The channel turns into a pile of half voted ideas that nobody reads

How to set up Suggestions

Here is how to get Suggestions running on your server, step by step. It takes a few minutes.

  1. Add Wody and open the dashboard

Invite Wody to your server, then sign in to the dashboard with Discord and pick your server. In Discord you can also run /dashboard to get the link.

  2. Turn on Suggestions

Open Suggestions in the sidebar and switch it on if it is off.

  3. Set it up

Choose what you need and save. Changes reach the bot instantly. You can set:

    • Suggestions channel
    • Recent suggestions and their status
  4. Use it in Discord

These commands are ready for you and your members:

    /suggest
  5. Check that it works

Try it in your server. If something is missing, Wody tells you exactly what, for example a permission, and the Error Log in the dashboard shows it. You can come back and change anything at any time.
