Discord Temporary Voice Channels Bot, Join to Create
Members join a hub channel and get their own voice channel with controls. It is deleted when empty. Premium.
A long list of empty voice channels makes a server look dead. Owners want rooms that exist only when someone needs them.
With Wody, members join a hub channel and get their own voice channel with controls. When the room is empty, Wody deletes it, so your channel list stays clean. It is a Premium module.
Who it is for
- Gaming squads and study groups that want their own room on demand
- Social servers with a hub channel that creates a room per person
What goes wrong elsewhere
- A fixed list of voice channels is either too crowded or full of empty rooms
- Members want the same few controls: rename, lock the room, set a limit
- Several single feature bots each add a role, an invite and a possible outage
What's included
A hub channel to join
Each member gets their own channel with controls
Deleted automatically when empty
Keeps the channel list tidy
How to set up Temporary Voice
Here is how to get Temporary Voice running on your server, step by step. It takes a few minutes.
Add Wody and open the dashboard
Invite Wody to your server, then sign in to the dashboard with Discord and pick your server. In Discord you can also run /dashboard to get the link.
Turn on Temporary Voice
Open Temporary Voice in the sidebar and switch it on if it is off. Temporary Voice is part of Premium. Activate a key for your server first, then turn it on.
Set it up
Choose what you need and save. Changes reach the bot instantly. You can set:
- Category and hub channel
- Channel name template
- Default user limit
Use it in Discord
These commands are ready for you and your members:
/tempvoice-setup/voice-rename/voice-limit/voice-lockCheck that it works
Try it in your server. If something is missing, Wody tells you exactly what, for example a permission, and the Error Log in the dashboard shows it. You can come back and change anything at any time.
