Discord Poll Bot, Multi Answer Polls That Close by Themselves
Create polls with several answers, schedule when they end and show live statistics and final results.
Choosing an event date, a new channel name or the next game night is easier with a poll, but a message full of emoji reactions is hard to read and never closes. Owners want a poll that has an end and a clear result.
Wody polls support several answers and can be scheduled to close on their own. Members vote, anyone can view live statistics, and the final results are shown when the poll ends.
Who it is for
- Owners who let the community choose game nights, events and rules
- Staff who want to know what members think before a change
What goes wrong elsewhere
- Emoji reaction polls let one person vote for several options, so the result is not reliable
- A poll that nobody closes keeps collecting votes and nobody posts the result
- Results are scattered in a thread of reactions instead of one clear summary
What's included
Several answers per poll
Closing time you schedule
Live statistics while the poll is open
Final results shown at the end
Created and managed with /pool create, /pool end, /pool results, /pool list and /pool delete
How to set up Pools
Here is how to get Pools running on your server, step by step. It takes a few minutes.
Add Wody and open the dashboard
Invite Wody to your server, then sign in to the dashboard with Discord and pick your server. In Discord you can also run /dashboard to get the link.
Start a pool
In the channel where members should vote, run /pool create. Write the question, add 2 to 10 options separated by | and set how long it stays open, for example 2h or 1d. You can also allow several answers or hide live results.
Close it and read the results
It closes by itself when the time is up. To end it earlier use /pool end with the ID of the poll message. /pool results shows the numbers and /pool list shows the active pools.
/pool create/pool end/pool results/pool list/pool deleteCheck that it works
Try it in your server. If something is missing, Wody tells you exactly what, for example a permission, and the Error Log in the dashboard shows it. You can come back and change anything at any time.
